Armature Works is hiring a full-time handyman for it’s historic mixed-use hub of innovative eateries and event and gathering spaces. With its unobstructed view of the Hillsborough River, the historic structure has been restored and reimagined into a premier Tampa destination. We're looking for a hands-on Handyman to help keep it running smoothly and looking its best every day.

You'll be the go-to fix-it person for our food hall vendors, bars, event venues and shared spaces. You'll work closely with property management, vendors and the events team to keep repairs moving and guests happy.

What You'll Do: 

• Respond to work orders and service requests from vendors, tenants and management, prioritizing urgent issues
• Perform general repairs: carpentry, drywall, painting, doors, locks, hardware, fixtures, tile and flooring touch-ups
• Handle basic plumbing (clogs, faucets, toilets, drains, grease trap support) and electrical work (lighting, ballasts, outlets, switches)
• Troubleshoot and report issues with kitchen, bar and refrigeration equipment, and coordinate with outside contractors
• Complete preventive maintenance on building systems, common areas, restrooms and exterior spaces
• Help set up, adjust and repair event spaces, furniture and fixtures in The Gathering, Social Hall, Theatre, Rooftop 220 and other venues
• Keep the historic building looking sharp: touch-up painting, signage, lighting and finishes
• Escort and supervise vendors and contractors on site
• Keep work orders, supplies and the maintenance shop organized and up to date
• Respond to after-hours emergencies

What You'll Bring:

• 2+ years of handyman, building maintenance or facilities experience; commercial, restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing and light electrical
• Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment or HVAC (EPA 608 certification a plus)
• Comfortable working on ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs, and being on your feet all day
• Friendly, professional and calm around guests, vendors and busy service hours
