We are seeking a personable, professional, and hospitality-driven individual to join our team at Sesame Hyde Park as an Evening Barista / Speakeasy Host. This dual role combines quality coffee service with providing an elevated guest experience as the first point of contact for Jekyll. If you are a reliable, outgoing, and detail-oriented individual who takes initiative, understands the importance of first impressions, and genuinely enjoys creating memorable guest experiences this position is for you! This position requires availability to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Do:

• Warmly welcome guests and provide exceptional hospitality.
• Manage Jekyll reservation check-ins, guest arrivals, and departures.
• Assist walk-in guests by checking availability and communicating with the Jekyll host team.
• Verify guest identification and promptly notify management of guest concerns or unauthorized entry.
• Prepare specialty coffee and espresso beverages according to company standards. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness.
• Process transactions accurately and complete closing duties.
• Balance barista and hosting responsibilities efficiently.

What You Bring:

• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or food and beverage. 
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. 
• Professional demeanor with excellent attention to detail. 
• Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment. 
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. 
• Barista, restaurant hosting, or upscale hospitality experience preferred.
